Young, healthy-looking skin contains an abundance of a naturally hydrating substance called hyaluronic acid. But as you age, sunlight and other factors can reduce the amount of hyaluronic acid in your skin. The lack of hyaluronic acid causes your skin to lose structure and volume, creating unwanted facial wrinkles and folds. We offer a number of cosmetic services and products that can assist with restoring and maintaining healthy, radiant skin. Please call the office to schedule a consultation.

Botox Cosmetic / Dysport / Jeuveau

BOTOX® Cosmetic, Dysport®, and Jeuveau® smooth frown lines, forehead wrinkles, crow’s feet, smoker’s lines, and sagging eyebrows. Treatments are simple 15-minute procedures with little to no downtime — often referred to as “lunchtime procedures.”

BOTOX®, Dysport®, and Jeuveau® provide noticeable results with no surgery and no recovery time. Visible results have been shown to last three to four months, although individual results may vary. BOTOX®, Dysport®, and Jeuveau® are injectables of purified proteins used to temporarily soften and eliminate unwanted lines of facial expression by relaxing the underlying muscles.

Microneedling (Collagen Induction Therapy) is a minimally invasive treatment in which an FDA-approved, electric-powered device is used to create thousands of tiny, invisible puncture wounds in the skin using sterile needles. By causing micro-injuries to the skin, the skin’s wound-healing process is stimulated, causing the release of growth factors to repair itself. The growth factors then cause the growth of new collagen and elastin.

Chemical Peels

Chemical peels are a proven, safe method of exfoliation, removing cellular build-up on the surface layers of your skin. Peels are useful for acne, prematurely aged skin due to sun exposure, rosacea, hyperpigmentation, acne lesions, and dry skin.  Down time is variable depending on the peel.

Juvéderm® is a dermal filler that restores your skin’s volume and smooths away facial wrinkles and folds, including “smile lines” and “parentheses” (the creases that run from the bottom of your nose to the corners of your mouth).

Restylane® smoothes wrinkles, shapes facial contours, augments lips, and improves skin structure. The result is instantaneous, producing a long-lasting, natural enhancement that’s gentle and safe.

Sculptra Aesthetic

Sculptra® Aesthetic is an injectable filler that restores facial volume loss.  Unlike other filler, it contains poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA), which stimulates your skin to produce it’s own, natural collagen.  Most patients require more than one vial, spaced over multiple treatment sessions for optimal results.

Dr. Kauffman and Dr. Pinney also perform laser services for hair removal and blood vessels.  Laser hair removal reduces unwanted facial and body hair by targeting the pigment in the hair being treated.  This has the added benefit of helping with ingrown hair and razor burn.  The treatment of blood vessels eliminates or lessens the appearance veins, redness, and broken blood vessels.  Multiple treatments are required for the best outcome.

eTwo (Sublative/Sublime)

Sublative® rejuvenation is a mix of ablative (visible) and non-ablative (not visible) radiofrequency energy.  This is used to treat fine line, wrinkles, scarring, and overall aging.  It may also be helpful for certain types of pigmentation.

SublimeTM combines bipolar radiofrequency and light to heat tissue and stimulate collagen production.  This treatment results in fine lines and wrinkles, as well as tighter, more contoured skin. The results are immediate with little to no downtime.

PRP Hair Restoration

Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) therapy is performed by our certified dermatologists, takes 30 minutes and no recovery time is involved. There are a few steps involved in the procedure. We draw a small amount of blood from the patient’s arm, then we spin it in a centrifuge machine to concentrate the growth factors and anti-inflammatory components of the blood. The PRP is painlessly injected into the scalp. Then the growth factors in the patient’s blood cells do their job and hair growth is naturally stimulated. Following a PRP treatment program and continued application of topical treatments, most patients notice hair loss stops and growth is stimulated.

We also carry a variety of products like Avene, Glytone and EltaMD.
